The BTS World Tour will kick off on April 9 in Goyang and travel across North and South America, Europe, Asia, and Australia. Some of the stops include Goyang, Tokyo, Mexico City, Los Angeles, London, and Las Vegas. Ever since the news broke, BTS’s world tour has been popping up all over the internet, thanks to fans’ chatter and marketing to promote the concerts. One ad for Las Vegas, however, features seven idols who don’t look anything like BTS. Understandably, netizens were quick to ask: Some netizens questioned why someone would use a very obviously AI-generated image of BTS when there are plenty of real photos of the group on the internet, including the real group photo that the AI image manipulated. This isn’t the only AI image being used to promote BTS’s world tour. Another netizen found an AI-generated ad for BTS’s France concerts! BTS will be performing in Las Vegas in May at Allegiant Stadium.
