Brooklyn Beckham Claims Victoria Beckham 'Hijacked' His Wedding Dance

Brooklyn Peltz Beckham is opening up about his wedding day, saying mom Victoria Beckham made the day an "embarrassment." Among a string of lengthy Instagram stories addressing longstanding rumors of a family feud on Monday, Jan. 19, the 26-year-old former model recalled the moment Victoria "hijacked" his first dance with wife Nicola Peltz Beckham on their big day. Their first dance, he said, "had been planned weeks in advance to a romantic love song." However, he alleged that "in front of our 500 wedding guests, (singer) Marc Anthony called me to the stage, where in the schedule was planned to be my romantic dance with my wife but instead my mum was waiting to dance with me instead." "She danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone," he added. "I've never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life." Brooklyn Peltz Beckham also recalled his mother allegedly bailing "in the eleventh hour" on making his wife's wedding dress, and alleged the Spice Girls alum, 51, called him "evil" for sitting his and Nicola Peltz Beckham's grandmothers at their table but seating their parents at nearby tables. Since the Peltz Beckhams married in April 2022, rumors have circulated about the state of their relationship with the Beckham clan amid scrutiny of the couple's absence from family functions. Victoria and David Beckham, who attended the couple's wedding, were notably absent from their vow renewal in August. Brooklyn Peltz Beckham now says the renewal was "so we could create new memories of our wedding day that bring us joy and happiness, not anxiety and embarrassment."
