Police Probe Unexplained Death After Body Found in Popular UK Park

A POLICE investigation has been launched after a man was found dead at a local park. Cops rushed to Cotham Gardens in Bristol after members of the public reported concerns for the welfare of the individual. The scene was reportedly cordoned off while one witness said the area was “completely surrounded by police”. Despite the best efforts of emergency services, the man was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigations into the victim’s death are ongoing. A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police has said: “Officers were called at 7.45am today (Tuesday 20 January) to Cotham Gardens, in Bristol, after a member of the public raised concerns for an individual’s welfare. “Sadly, despite the efforts of emergency personnel, a man was pronounced dead. “His death is being treated as unexplained and enquiries into the incident are ongoing. “A scene remains in place and members of the public can expect to see a heightened police presence.”
