Bob's Burgers Season 16: What's the Latest on New Episodes?

“Bob’s Burgers” is on a break. The animated sitcom’s midseason finale aired on Dec. 28, 2025. Fox has not confirmed when season 16 of “Bob’s Burgers” will resume. It’s likely that fans will have to wait until at least March for new episodes of the beloved series. NJ.com has reached out to Fox for comment. Season 15 of “Bob’s Burgers” had an unusually erratic schedule. The show went on a midseason break in December 2024 and didn’t return until May 2025. Season 14 was also unpredictable, with only three episodes airing between January and May 2024. The season then resumed in the fall of 2024, wrapping up one week before season 15 premiered. While “Bob’s Burgers” fans often have to be patient for new episodes, they got good news about the show’s future last year. In April 2025, Fox renewed “Bob’s Burgers,” “The Simpsons,” “Family Guy” and “American Dad!” for four more seasons each, meaning the animated shows will be on the air until at least 2029. The renewal will carry “Bob’s Burgers” through season 19, “Family Guy” through season 27, “American Dad” through season 25, and “The Simpsons” through season 40. Season 16 of “Bob’s Burgers” kicked off in September 2025, with 10 episodes premiering thus far. That means there are five episodes left to air this spring. “Bob’s Burgers” fans are still waiting to hear when season 16 will resume, but “The Simpsons” and “Family Guy” are set to return on Feb. 15. Season 20 of “American Dad!” premieres on Feb 22. “The Simpsons” and “Family Guy” both returned from break in February 2025 as well, while “Bob’s Burgers” didn’t come back until May 2025. “Bob’s Burgers” is available to stream on Hulu.
