The RHS Chelsea Flower Show is the most famous flower show in the world and is broadcast each year on the BBC from the Royal Hospital Chelsea, London, and BBC Creator Lab is launching an opportunity for creators who can bring gardening, plants, nature and horticulture to life for young audiences, using engaging, accessible and distinctive social storytelling.
Up to 13 creators will be selected to take part in the scheme, which includes:
A two-day BBC Creator Lab content retreat
Exclusive access to RHS Chelsea Flower Show
Opportunities to visit and capture content at RHS Gardens including RHS Garden Wisley
Training, development and up-skilling from teams at both the BBC and TikTok.
Creators will also have the opportunity to pitch ideas and build relationships with BBC Commissioning, Production and RHS teams.
Previous Creator Lab initiatives have seen social and digital creators taking part in Last Pundit Standing, a search to find a brand new football expert for BBC Sport whilst other members of the BBC Creator Lab creative community have created content for some of the BBC’s highest profile content ranging from Eurovision to Saturday Kitchen.
