Ashley Tisdale's Iconic Sharpay Outfits Revisited 20 Years Later

Two decades later, Ashley Tisdale is taking fans back to East High School. In a photo dump shared on Tuesday, the Disney Channel alum recreated her most iconic Sharpay Evans outfits 20 years later for High School Musical’s anniversary. “You can take the girl out of East High…but you can’t take Sharpay out of the girl 💅✨. 20 years and two babies later I’m still squeezing into these looks,” she captioned her January 20 post, sharing a video of her walking down a hallway at her storage unit while wearing some of the most recognizable looks from her tenure as East High’s resident theater queen. Swapping out Sharpay’s signature platinum blonde hair for a sleek, middle-parted auburn bun, Tisdale first walked out wearing the plunging bright turquoise dress trimmed with floral accents that she wore to perform opposite Lucas Grabeel at the end of the first movie. She accessorized the vivid dress with a pair of silver peep-toe platform ankle wrap heels. As “Bop to the Top” played in the background, Tisdale also modeled a light pink tank top, the salmon pink plaid jacket, and matching A-line skirt she wore in the first film, as well as her very Noughties-era “What I’ve Been Looking For” auditions outfit. She paired a light pink tank top with a silver sequined short sleeve jacket, and a purple skirt. Tisdale—who shares two daughters Jupiter and Emerson with Christopher French—also shared a throwback photo dump from the original movie, captioning her nostalgic post, “20 years ago we had no idea what this would turn into. I love you, Sharpay. And let me just say… we’re still looking fabulous! 💖”
