How to Unlock the Raider's Refuge Cellar in ARC Raiders

There are a fair few secrets to uncover in ARC Raiders, and how to open the locked cellar at Raider’s Refuge is one of the most rewarding. It’s also one of the trickiest, as finding the means to unlock it is both dangerous and subject to RNG. Here’s how to do it. How to find the buttons that open the Raider’s Refuge cellar in ARC Raiders To open the Raider’s Refuge cellar hatch, you need to find and interact with four buttons in the area. The catch is that there are 23 potential button spawn locations selected randomly at the start of a round. You don’t need to press the buttons in any specific order, but you do need to find and press all four before the cellar door will unlock. If you’re lucky, you’ll find all of them in and around the building itself, but if not, you might need to look in the nearby ruins. We’ll go over all the locations you should search today. All 23 Raider’s Refuge cellar button locations The vast majority of the 23 button locations are in and around the main building at Raider’s Refuge. We’ll go over those first, as they’re the easiest to look for. You'll find the locations of the remaining buttons after that. Outside Raider’s Refuge buttons There are eight buttons to find on the outside walls of Raider’s Refuge or the doorways leading into it. Button 1: Eastern doorway You'll find this button in the doorway leading east from Raider's Refuge, next to a chest of drawers. Button 2: Atop the eastern boxes This switch location is on the outer east wall on the climbable path of boxes to the window on the second floor. Button 3: Near the cellar door This button location is literally right in the open in front of the locked cellar door. Button 4: Beneath the eastern girders For this button location, look under the rusted girders to the right of the cellar door. Button 5: In front of a large control box To find this button, stand facing the southern wall and look right. It's just in front of the control panel on the large white mechanical box. Button 6: Two ventilation boxes Look up and to the left while facing the southern wall of the Refuge. The button can appear on the ventilation boxes. Button 7: Behind rusted sheet metal and a bush On the western outside wall of the refuge is a collection of rusted out machinvery anda bush. The button can appear nestled behind them. Button 8: Behind large sheet metal and a bench This button can appear on the western wall behind and beneath the large rusted sheet metal, near the western doorway. Buttons inside Raider’s Refuge Another ten buttons are hiding inside Raider’s Refuge, some on the ground floor, and most in the rafters or on the roof. Button 9: Behind the computer monitors For this button, look inside the Refuge, behind the large stack of computer monitors and next to the small tower at the northern end of the building. Button 10: Near the satellite dish You can find this button's location after climbing up to the roof. Look over the edge for a platform hanging off the eastern wall, near the satellite dish. Button 11: Bent loft floorboards This button location is nestled in the bent boards of the loft, which is accessible via a hole in the roof. Button 12: Underneath loft floorboards Look for this button location beneath the floorboards supporting the bed and desk in the loft. Button 13: Behind the loft bed This button can be located directly behind the bed in the loft area. Button 14: Behind the loft chest of drawers Find this potential button spawn behind the chest of drawers in the loft, directly across from the bed. Button 15: On the bricks extending out from the wall behind the loft chest of drawers The first really tricky button location is on the bricks behind and to the east of the loft. You'll need to carefully navigate the board behind the loft to reach it. Button 16: Western wall jutting bricks For this button, you need to use the raised platform that spans the building to clamber atop the set of bricks extending out from the western wall. Button 17: Eastern wall jutting bricks Atop the set of bricks extending from the eastern wall. Use the zipline that leads to the roof, then jump off just as you reach the extended brickwork Button 18: Beneath the exposed beams This button location is beneath the exposed wooden beams at the southern end of the Refuge's roof. Buttons in buildings beyond Raider’s Refuge There are five remaining buttons to find, and you’ll need to search the nearby buildings to find them all. Button 19: Next to chairs in a nearby building You'll find this button spawn in the roofless ruin a little ways east of the main Refuge building, near a set of well-preserved chairs. Button 20: Eastern building floorboards Head to the building still further east of the Refuge, and you can find this button spawn beneath the gap in the floorboards. Button 21: Behind the wire fence cage At the same eastern building, you'll find this button beneath the window leading south and behind the wire fence along the southeast wall. Button 22: In another cellar There's a smaller cellar out at this eastern building, accessible via the ladder on the northern side. The button can appear next to a set of lockers. Button 23: Northwest by a chest In a building northwest of Raider’s Refuge, this button can be found to the left of a chest of drawers. What loot do you get from the Raider’s Refuge cellar? The Raider’s Refuge cellar is a fantastic loot spot, well worth your time unlocking. Some of the high-value loot containers are guaranteed to appear, while others will appear at random. Here’s everything you can look forward to: A weapon box A Security Breach locker A rare component pouch A large grenade and materials chest A mechanical loot cabinet A fridge A large wardrobe cabinet A medicine cabinet Beware: each time you press one of the buttons at Raider’s Refuge, a loud sound will play, and the loot crates in the cellar are not protected. You might very well need to fight for the gear you worked so hard to unlock. Such is the nature of extraction shooters.
