Police Investigate Antisemitic Abuse Incident in Melbourne

Police are appealing for information on a reported antisemitic incident in a prominent Jewish neighbourhood in Melbourne. Investigators have been told the victims — three teenage boys — were standing on Glen Eira Road in St Kilda East about 9:50pm on Monday when a white ute drove past. It's alleged the occupants of the vehicle yelled antisemitic abuse at the boys, before stopping a short distance away. "The victims ran across the road, the ute performed a U-turn and drove towards the victims," a Victoria Police spokesperson said. None of the victims were hurt and the vehicle drove off soon after," police said.
