Amanda Seyfried Recounts Bizarre On-Set Prank: Channing Tatum Urinated On Her

Amanda Seyfried recently shared a bizarre behind-the-scenes story from the set of the 2010 romantic drama “Dear John.” Her co-star, Channing Tatum, once peed on her while filming. But before you write him off for the disorderly act, know that Seyfried wasn’t upset. In fact, it was just one of many pranks the duo pulled on each other during production. The actress recounted the prank during an interview with Deadline published Jan. 15, describing how Tatum caught her off guard during a beach scene. “He peed on my leg once without me knowing,” Seyfried said. “And I didn’t realize at first and then I was like, ‘Oh that’s why he’s standing so close to me. What the..?’” The prank took a more alarming turn when some of the urine ended up in a nearby crew member’s coffee cup. “There was a coffee cup very close by, and a little bit got in the coffee cup and he ran away,” Seyfried told the outlet. “As I was screaming, one of the makeup artists picked it up and was about to drink it and I saved her.” Seyfried characterized the incident as part of a playful dynamic between her and the “Magic Mike” star throughout production. “He and I effed with each other the entire movie in like a super, super fun way,” she said. “He’s very, very funny and we had a great time.” The comments align with previous remarks Seyfried made about working with Tatum. In 2015, the “Mean Girls” alum told E! News that he was her “favorite co-star thus far.” “Channing and I have a very similar set behavior,” Seyfried said at the time. “We don’t take anything too seriously, but we’re shooting a movie that’s very heavy, all about love and romance. It’s a tear-jerker, so we just like to play around.”
