That's right – the Air Jordan 14 'Forest Green', originally released in 2005, is set for a retro release later this year, marking its first comeback since its debut. Designed by Tinker Hatfield and inspired by MJ’s Ferrari 550 Maranello, the Air Jordan 14 launched with an aerodynamic design that stood apart from its fellow predecessors. Performance features such as Zoom Air cushioning and a low-profile build mirrored His Airness' speed and precision in the later years of his career, cementing the silhouette status' both technically and from a style POV. Beyond its design, the silhouette is forever tied to ‘The Last Shot’ in the 1998 NBA Finals, making it, again, one of the most legendary and memorable models in the Jordan Brand line up. As for this upcoming version, the Air Jordan 14 'Forest Green', stays true to the original look and feel of the OG model. Smooth white leather dominates the upper, accented by perforated side panels and ribbed stitching reminiscent of a sports car’s cooling vents. Meanwhile, deep emerald hits highlight the midsole’s signature teeth, the Ferrari-inspired shield and the heel branding, offering a sleek contrast to the crisp base. Rounding things out, black accents, a carbon-fibre shank plate and a white rubber outsole complete the look, ensuring the pair feels as solid on the court as it does on the street.
